"'Harmony' came from deep within myself that in some way is feeling optimistic, despite these
difficult political times. In some sense I seek the harmony of things. I feel hopeful. Within this
piece are two different plants, both cut and torn fabric, quilting that echoes forms as well as
parallel horizontal quilted lines, a balance of the natural and the abstract."
