Natural French Horn built by Marcel-Auguste Raoux for Joaquim Pedro Quintela (1801-1869), 2nd Baron of Quintela and 1st Earl of Farrobo, prosperous businessman and wealthy owner who used a great amount of his fortune as a music maecenas. The sumptuosity and vivacity of the festivities promoted by Joaquim Pedro Quintela originated the expression "farrobodó", which is still used today and derives from his title of earl.
