The reverse view of Mrs. Lancaster's bedroom at Haseley Court, Oxford, England. The room is painted apricot orange with white trim and vaulted ceilings, with an 18th century cupolated bed, hung with blue-fringed ivory silk. The chandelier with grapes is a Victorian ormolu; the bedside tables are in a chinoiserie style fringed with bells from the Brighton Pavilion; the floor is covered with a Regency needlework rug. On the right side of the room stand tall 17th century screens of Spanish leather that came from Hartwell House where Louis XVIII lived; a large paned mirror fills the back wall of the room.
