Hat

Hat of plaited straw. It is very broad-brimmed excepting at the back and has a small low circular crown. The under part is lined and the edges bound with painted and dyed cotton in pattern of double bamboo stems bearing pointed leaves and various flowers in white, blue and green on a deep red ground.
