Homecrafts school

In addition to the "factory welfare organisation" which provided women and girls with further education in domestic issues, the factory also had its own homecrafts schools which were free for members of a miner's family to visit. The young girls and miners' daughters were to be prepared for managing a household in the best way possible to be able to provide the miner with a solid family life.
