The head of John the Baptist on a wooden dish, from Ørslev Church in South-West Zealand. The wooden head, together with the three human bones, was carried in procession to a holy spring on St. Hans (St. Johns) Eve, even after the Reformation. The head is from 1450-1500, the dish from 1625.
