From the painting by Gérard depicting the "Entry of Henry IV in Paris" (of which the present drawing, together with the one with the inventory number 106, constitute some studies of characters), Paolo Toschi drew one of his most famous engravings, finished in 1826 (see the state test inv. 953 and the press with study of the characters inv. 1079).
