The semispherical headdress is worked in needle lace and consists of flowers, buds and leaves of diverse types and colours fastened to a mesh foundation over fine wire. The buds are embroidered over tiny thread balls and attached to stalks made of notched spiral wire. Donated by Princess İkbal Moneim Saviç. The headdress is said to have belonged to the family of the khedive of Egypt.
