'Heart’s Labyrinth' is a very personal ballet. The title enabled Jiří Kylián to go to great lengths, in order to make an artistic statement. As Kylián explains himself: “The human heart is the centre of emotion. The limitless range of emotions, including the fine nuances and endless combinations, creates an unexplainable labyrinth with numerous pathways. Wandering this labyrinth, I try to approach questions that, which I know now, offer no answers.”
