This mural only took six days to complete. Working very fast and around the clock is one of the principles brothers How & Nosm apply to their process. We see the sharp graphic style as in the other with Dabs and Myla ("Cream of the Crop"), although the color purple makes an appearance here. There is an allegorical aspect to this work. The hand at right stands for Uncle Sam's hand pushing the central figure. This figure is a sort of a creativity machine, and the brothers have included themselves as cogs in the machine, and the implied meaning addresses the influence of commercialism on artwork. The half circle at top loft is a reoccurring element in their work. Photo © Ian Robertson-Salt
