Heaven 2

Heaven 2 is part of the Heaven x Hell Series, created by GIF artist Milos Rajkovic (Belgrade, Serbia 1985), known as Sholim. The work maintains the colour palette used by Hieronymus Bosch for his original depiction of paradise, in pinks and blues. In it, the protagonists are condemned to an absurd and cyclical existence, which raises doubts about the true nature of these infinite scenes. These looping videos are defined by the artist as “digital surrealism”. Choosing GIF as an artistic medium positions him within a generation of artists that uses the Internet as a medium for their work and its exhibition, and as a source of inspiration.
