Heliophysics Big Year: Celebrating the Sun through Art

This is an artistic concept of NASA's effort to explore and celebrate the Sun's influence on everything through an effort called the Heliophysics Big Year. The Heliophysics Big Year is a global celebration of solar science and the Sun's influence on Earth and the entire solar system. The Heliophysics Big Year began Oct. 14, 2023, with an annular solar eclipse, includes a total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, and culminates with Parker Solar Probe's closest approach to the Sun on Dec. 24, 2024.
