Fire fighters appeal to kids because their equipment and appartatus is distinctive, their vehicles are huge and noisy, and their deeds are daring and heroic. The popularity of the the aspiration is reflected in the availability of toy fire equipment and of toy fire trucks: fire-fighting toys have been manufactured for every generation of the past 200 years or so and have been made in such variety that every child of every economic level can have toys of their own. This electronic and educational fire-fighter's talking helmet combine fantasy play of fire fighting with instruction in fire safety. The realistically designed helmet includes battery-operated lights, an adjustable headband, and a face shild.
