During the most crucial phases of a mission, the launch and the landing, the astronauts wear lighter and more confortable space suits than the ones used for external activities. Inside they don't need automatic life system like the backpack with oxygen reserve, the ventilation and communication systems. The helmets used in the interior are different from the rigid and bulky ones used outside. The one you can see relate to different versions of the Soviet space suit Sokol.
