Photo of Henrietta Lacks.
The image most likely originated with the Lacks family but no one knows who released it, or who was the first to publish it, or who is the copyright holder, if any. The photo did appear subsequently online as "Henrietta Lacks in the 1940s. Credit Lacks Family, via The Henrietta Lacks Foundation" (2013/New York Times) and as "Photo courtesy the Lacks family" (2004/Baltimore City Paper). The non-free rationale of "Non-replaceable, person is dead" still applies.
