This display case evokes the use of herbal drawers according to 18th-century models that were used for the transportation of live plants for scientific and commercial interest. In it, facsimiles related to foods that became widespread and globalized—such as cocoa, bananas, pineapples, and wheat—are exhibited. It is part of the Flavors That Sail Across the Seas exhibition in Huelva.
