Hermann Cohn (1838–1907), a Breslau citizen, physician, professor of ophthalmology at the University of Breslau, long-term academic lecturer known as „Cohn from the eyes”. The creator and precursor of the so-called school eye hygiene, currently included in the screening tests for eyesight tests in school children and adolescents.
