    BRITAIN'S SUPER PASSENGER PLANE. 29.6.1945. GEN NO. 418909. THE BRISTOL AVIATION COMPANY HAVE NOW STARTED BUILDING THE TYPE 167 OF THE "BRABAZON TYPE 1", BRITAIN'S SUPER AIRCRAFT, WHICH WILL HAVE A RANGE OF 5,000 MILES, AT 250 M.P.H. THE WING SPAN IS 230 FT, LENGTH 177 FT., AND HEIGHT OVER RUDDER 52 FT. IT WILL CARRY 224 PASSENGERS BY DAY, OR EIGHTY SLEEPING PASSENGERS. THE POWER IS PROVIDED BY EIGHT BRISTOL CENTAURUS ENGINES, EACH DEVELOPING OVER 2,500 [illegible]. THE AIRCRAFT IS DESIGNED FOR OPERATING OVER 20,000 FT.
