This engraving reproduces a work by French painter and sculptor Rosa Bonheur who was born in Bordeaux, France in 1822. The first owner of Glenmont, Henry C. Pedder, owned this particular engraving. Though it now hangs in the Edison Dining Room, in earlier years it was displayed in the Billiard Room on the third floor of the home.
