Himalayan Landscape

Russian intellectual and artist, Nicholas Roerich came and settled with his family at Naggar in Himachal Pradesh, India. His majestic Himalayan landscapes, of which this painting is just one example, exudes a sense of peace and sublimity. Roerich handles the changing lights of the mountainsides very sensitively.
