Long piece, so narrow that the full pattern cannot be seen. Features large plant elements with very little movement. The brocade has two silk warps in yellow and red, and two linen and silk wefts with a satin and twill weave. Selvages retained on one side, with three vertical lines in natural and brown shades.
The materials used and the large decorative motifs date this fragment to the early 17th century. Fabric used in tapestries.
