Baker and Herbert Clark of Walla Walla opened a bank known as the Baker & Clark Bank in 1882, located in the A.A. Lieuallen store room. The first bank building was constructed in 1884 on the southwest corner of Main and First Streets, the first brick building erected in Moscow.
