HM Prison Holloway, Islington, Greater London

Holloway Prison opened in 1852 as the City House of Correction. It originally houses male and female prisoners but became a female-only prison in 1902. The prison was completely rebuilt on the same site between 1971 and 1985, and closed in 2016.
