Hoe head, made from serape iron. The iron is heated to red-hot and beaten to whatever shape they needed for making hoe head. Often it is narrow at the end and wider at the opposite end. The narrow end is the pair used to fit and tied to the hoe stick. Made by a blacksmith and used by women for digging shambas. Also used when it is old to serape off hair from animal skin.
