Holly Bedroom Repairs

Detail of the 'Cobbler' tapestry in the Holly Bedroom, which was one of those repaired and hung in a position where the repairs could be concealed as much as possible. The 1760 room would not have had electric lighting, making the patches to the bottom of this tapestry more difficult to see in a relatively dim corner of the room after sunset than they are now.
