The Holy Gate of Santiago de Compostela created in the 17th century owes its ornamentation to the disarticulation of the Master Mateo's choir. Originally only twelve of the Old and New Testament figures surrounded the entrance, but this door was also the subject of Baroque renovations. To the initials were added twelve other figures and four of the ceilings that covered each choir seat.
