Marko Minov (unknown data) was born in the village of Galinik, Debar region (North Macedonia). In 1865, his family moved to the village of Karakioy near Nevrokop. He also worked jointly with his brother Theophil and his uncle Milosh Yakovlev. The mural production of the iconographers of this family has been researched and documented. Although little is known about their iconic heritage, there is evidence that they painted icons for the churches in the villages of Kapatovo, Melnik region (1888), Bagrentsi, Kyustendil region (1889), and the only extant icon is of the Seven Saints (1889) from Sofia’s Church of Sts Peter and Paul. inv.
