It is part of a serie of printings took from the different murals of Cacaxtla an archeologic zone in the south of the state of Tlaxcala. Cacaxtla is a big pyramidal basement form the post-classic period (950- 1521) that conserved various mural paintings with Mayan influence.
This piece is from the entrance to the building A, mural called “Hombre maya”.
