The entrance hall in the Paris home belonging to H.R.H. Edward, The Duke of Windsor, and his wife, Wallis Simpson, the Duchess of Windsor. In the Paris park Bois de Boulogne, the nineteenth-century house is located at 4 Route du Champ d'Entrainement. Through a wrought iron gate, staff members (footmen) can be seen dressed in livery uniforms designed by the Duke himself. The black uniform was meant for day wear. The red tailcoats were meant for evening wear, In the far background, near one of the footman's feet, some of the couple's pugs sit on the floor.
