Object Notes(japanese): 俵の形をした胴に口をつけたもので、三国時代の陶器の形を原流とし、酒の容器として使われました。この俵壺のように平底のものと、長方形の高台をつけたものとがありますが、本来の器底は俵形の側面にあって、そこを下にして垂直に立てて焼きあげました。この俵壺は形も整い、釉調も青味があって美しい上に、卓抜な絵付けによって鶏龍山の俵壺として比類ない逸品です。蓮池に翡翠（かわせみ）、魚、蓮の花に鷺の図は適確な筆致で、禅画的な趣きすらあります。
