Charrete was one of the main means of transport between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, which reduced the distances between places in the first villages, which became large cities in the various regions. The carriage is one of the cheapest means of transport, since antiquity, it transported loads, food and animals, making people's lives easier.

One of the greatest innovations in this vehicle was the insertion of the suspension (made with leather straps or chains), which made transportation more comfortable and eased impacts along the way. Over time it evolved and its characteristics showed much of the social conditions of its owner.

Its origin is due to the domestication of animals by man and the invention of the wheel, which was the driving force for several discoveries. After the domestication of animals, man realized that he could use them for transporting heavy materials, which to be transported, needed to be supported by one that would make them slide to
facilitate your intent.
