The world of the medieval knights was often represented in sculptures and toys. Lead and tin figurines or tiles with horse motives are witnesses of life in the medieval times. In the northwest of Germany only a few sculptures were found. For example, this rather simple horse sculpture was found in Langförden in the rural district of Vechta.
