German secret service chief Horst Ehmke who chose Gunter Guillaume as a personal advisor for Willy Brandt. Guillaume was discovered to be working as a GDR spy in an incident which led to the resignation of Willy Brandt while Ehmke was serving as Minister of Post in May 1974.
