The artist presents here for the first time HoyAyer, which is the end-result of a grant he was awarded for research in South America. It is mounted on a sequence of 24 photos of a sun that does not set, produced by the Swiss artist Emil Schultess, with a selection of extracts from the book, Chile Ayer Hoy (Santiago: Editorial Nacional Gabriela Mistral, 1975), summoning up a latent memory of the political past of the continent.
