Human Photosynthesis is a work by the Spanish artist Okuda San Miguel (Santander, Spain, 1980). Multicoloured geometric patterns and organic forms populate his striking creations, reflections on the contradictions and inconsistencies of contemporary culture. Bright, dynamic and direct, Okuda's striking visual language transforms space and raises profound questions about modernity and existence. As the artist explains, his work is "pop surrealism with the essence of the street". His paintings and installations have been part of numerous group exhibitions and his murals can be seen in venues around the world.
