This is a human-shaped haniwa that depicts a farmer standing up straight. He carries a hoe on his shoulder supported by his right hand. The thumb of his left hand points up with his palm facing his chest. Both his elbows are away from his body in this pose. There is a conical hat on his head, and his hair is tied by his ears in the age-mizura style. There is a cord tied around his waist with a short sword attached. This haniwa is characterized by its long nose, jujube-shaped eyes, and small mouth.
