Humbargar House

Solomon Humbarger built this log house on the north bank of the Saline River around 1866. Eleven years later he married Nancy Ann Alley. The family went on to have two sons, Charley and Howard, in the home before moving to a larger house around 1890. Descendants of the family donated the structure to the Kansas Museum of History in 1985.
