A man-made wonder, the Hussain Sagar Lake plays a key role in connecting Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Made under the rule of Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah in 1562, the lake is also popular for being the host of various water-sports. A tall statue of Gautam Buddha stands at the centre of the lake that makes for a stunning sight.
