The Nizam's King Kothi palace is the highlight of the map. The palace was actually built by the noble Kamal Khan, who offered it to the Nizam Mir Mahbub Ali Khan. In return, the Nizam granted him a jagir which covered the cost of the palace. It was the last Nizam, who lived there more and when he made the palace as his permanent residence, the city of Hyderabad started spanning to the north of the river Musi. The Usman Mansion was the major Building. The eastern portion was used for the official and ceremonial purpose includes Eden Gardens, even still today 'Eden Gardens' is known as the function hall. It was at the Eden garden the marriage of the last Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan with Azam-un-Nisa Begum Sahib took place. And, the Mubarak Mansions in the west was used as private building.
