The Fateh Maidan, to the north of it lies Brigade Office Lane and between these, situates Brigade Office and its related buildings like officers mess H.H Nizams Regular Troops are visible on the map. Fateh Maidan, the Victory Ground named after the victory of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb against Golconda Sultan Abul Hasan. It was at Fateh Maidan Mughals encamped during the last siege of Golconda, hence after the victory the ground named as Fateh Maidan, Victory Ground. The ground was used for Military Parade by Major Rock and Col. Neville, followed on even by Nawab Afsar-ul-Mulk, the Commander of Nizam's Regular Troops. Later, the ground used as Race Course and Polo Ground and even held Parade on Nizam's Birth Day.
