The Singos Tank and the Tank Bund area are visible on the map. A canal diverged from the tank towards the south, where a Dhobi Ghat is identifiable. The Dhobi Ghat is a place where a traditional dhobi caste washermen or women go to wash clothes. It can be always nearby a watershed, and on the map, it is around channels made out of Singos Tank. Around the Singos Tank, throughout the map, are arid in nature, hence the flow of channel to various parts are clearly marked. And, somewhere in the arid land, Makta Ram Kishan is visible. There was a system of land tenure in the Telangana region, under which the govt land varying in size, either from small holdings to a whole village or group of villages, were given on a fixed rent to bring the new lands under the cultivation. The holder was known as Maktadars, were locally powerful landlords. So, such land obviously was called as Makta land and in due course, came into existence that calling any area part of Makta land along with the holder name like Makta Ram Kishan.
