The area covered on the map is much of uninhabited and rocky in nature. At some places, the land is marked as Makta along with holder name. There was a system of land tenure in the Telangana region, under which the govt land varying in size, either from small holdings to a whole village or group of villages, were given on a fixed rent to bring the new lands under the cultivation. The holder was known as Maktadars, were locally powerful landlords. So, such land obviously was called as Makta land and in due course, came into existence that calling any area part of Makta land along with the holder name. Here, Makta Ghalib Jang Br and Makta Jamal-ud-Din are identifiable. The channels carrying water, even connected to a large garden, but, since only boundary part is visible, it is not clear to whom the garden belongs.
