The garden belongs to Raja Indar covering the great extent of the ground within a large compound, situates exactly to the north of Kamatipura Road, which is passing in a horizontal manner are visible on the map. The garden of Raja Indar has many stepwells in it. Stepwells were developed mainly for the storage purpose especially in the arid regions like Deccan. It was easy for the people to get the access as well as manage the groundwater than with big well and tank. And, a small settlement around the Bandalgura Street can also be seen to the north of the garden, where few residences are evident.
