The flower garden namely Phul Bagh Badshah Sahib at the center of the map and to the right side of it lies another garden belongs to Zorawar Jang Br are visible on the map. The Chhatri Lane is heading off beside the flower garden and a number of stepwells are also evident throughout the map, indicates the arid nature of the region. The Chhatri literally means an umbrella or canopy, actually a dome-shaped pavilion, especially found on the roof. It was the key feature of the Rajput architecture, but later the Mughals incorporated it. Chhatri was unknown to the Hyderabad until the Mughals introduced it followed by the Mughals occupation of Deccan. Also, the term Chhatri was referred for the memorial shrine i.e. a chapel built over a tomb is evident in the different part of India. So, here on the map, the structure is not evident, only the street lane is visible, must be on the way close to the structure. Stepwells were developed mainly for the storage purpose especially in the arid regions like Deccan. It was easy for the people to get the access as well as manage the groundwater than with big well and tank.
