A large graveyard belongs to Muslim community locates around the Kadir Jang Makta street lane, which is crossed by Chhatri lane and heading away are visible on the map. Among the graves, some marked as Makbarah and some placed within the garden are identifiable. The word Makbarah denotes for grave especially of Muslims, derived from the Arabic word Qabr. But it would not refer to the graves of all in general, only considered to those people who associated with the preaching of Islam or lead their life according to Islamic principles like religious figures, Sufis, Imam etc.
