Drawing on symbols of the national birds of India and Pakistan, this work addresses the issues of estrangement, border conflict, and resolution. Through this drawing of a fictional bird, the 'Pea-kar', the hybrid of India's peacock and Pakistan's chukar, the artist conveys her hope for the peaceful coexistence of varied and conflicting ideas and ideologies.
