I Feel I Am Eating My Memories

During her performance “Conserve I” (2011), the artist chewed pages from second-hand books in different languages, including Armenian and Hebrew, written with the Arabic and Cyrillic alphabets. The act of chewing renders the books illegible. The remainder of the performance is the unusable by-products chewed and spat out, and later preserved by the artist.
