i Takitaki ni Wai (Container)

i Takitaki ni Wai. Coconut shell container. Whole coconut shell, hollow inside and small circular aperture at its top. Hole drilled at either side of the aperture with golden-coloured braided magimagi (coconut sennit) threaded through for hanging the container. Surface mostly etched with decorative motifs, bottom section at base left bare. Highly polished. Brown in colour.
