i Wau Totokia. Battle-axe. Carved from a single piece of kau (wood). The ulu ni wau (head of the club) resembles a pineapple fruit or the fruit of a pandanus tree, and is covered with 5 rows of studs, with a protruding beak, approximately 80mm long. The tolo ni wau (body of the club) is round in cross-section, with sections of tavatava (shallow incisions), approximately 220mm long, across the liga ni wau (handle of the club). There is a prominent groove in-between the lower area of the liga ni wau and the butt-end. Dark brown in colour.
