IAMISIGO, Spring / Summer 2018 at Lagos Fashion Week 2017.This look is part of the collection titled “Mino” which means our mothers in Fon. The collection was inspired by the strength and ruthlessness of a group of chosen women known as the Dahomey Amazons who were created as a military force in the 16th century. They obligated beyond any reasonable doubt to fight against slavery and to protect their Kingdom of Dahomey. IAMISIGO is an African womenswear brand and was founded in 2009.
